Resources and Strengths
Elate Partners was built to specifically address the needs of cross-border investment-related activities between China and the western world. This is all we do, and we do nothing else. We're investment and finance professionals, we're technical experts, and we're operational professionals. But more importantly, we count ourselves as locals both in China and in the western world. Local access, local understanding, local way of thinking and local solutions. That's our core strength: a team of locals that do nothing else but connect capital, assets, technologies and talents between China and the western world.
Deal Sourcing and Processing Resources
We source our deals through a multitude of channels. We have our own proprietary sources, and we use more traditional channels. All of our deals go into a Deal Database that we built on our own that collects and manages deal lifecycle in an automated, collaborative and streamlined way.
Business Support Resources
Law firms, investment banks, industry experts and local governments, to name just a few of our comprehensive set of resources that support us through the entire business cycle, from deal sourcing to exit.
Financial Market Resources
Our Wall-Street financing resources are an integral part of our Asset Monetization Business and are our window to all that the global financial markets have to offer. We also have wide and deep access to all levels of China's fledging yet mostly-closed financial markets that provide fundraising, advisory as well as exit opportunities.
We are long-term and regular partners with numerous local governments in China and have access to, and are qualified for, a wide array of incentives offered by local governments and national organizations alike.
Working with China requires a special combination of talents, and being bilingual is far from enough. You need to speak the technical, business, finance, sales and marketing and management "languages" in the social, business and cultural contexts of both China and the western world. Fortunately, we have a reserve of such talents from former Chinese students in the western world who are nowadays in senior technical and management positions in western organizations. They desire to go back and contribute to their homeland, but struggle to find positions that suit their senior statuses. Our business make extensive use of them while offering a rare platform for them to succeed on.
